Terms of use

Last updated 6 October 2026

By installing or using xtap you agree to these terms.

What xtap is

xtap is non-custodial software that runs in your browser. It helps you look up tokens mentioned on X and build and send transactions from a wallet you control. xtap never holds your funds or your keys.

Your responsibility

  • You are responsible for your wallets, keys, password and every transaction you approve. Lost keys or passwords cannot be recovered by anyone.
  • Crypto tokens, and memecoins in particular, are extremely volatile and can lose all of their value within minutes. Nothing in xtap is financial, investment or tax advice.
  • Safety checks shown in the panel come from third-party data and can be wrong or incomplete. A clean check is not a guarantee.
  • You must follow the laws that apply to you. Do not use xtap where trading these assets is prohibited.

Fees

xtap may charge a platform fee of 0.3% per swap, added to the transaction and shown before you trade. Network fees, priority fees and tips are paid to the network and its validators, not to xtap.

Third-party services

xtap relies on services such as Jupiter, Helius, Jito, Dexscreener, GeckoTerminal, GoPlus, LI.FI and blockchain RPC providers. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control.

No warranty

xtap is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. Transactions can fail, land at a worse price than quoted within your slippage, or be delayed by the network.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, xtap and its developers are not liable for any loss of funds, profits or data arising from your use of the extension.

Not affiliated with X

xtap is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp. or any token or exchange it shows.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use xtap after an update means you accept the new terms.
